Most computer "e-calendar" programs are based on a standard file format known as Internet Calendar and Scheduling (.ICS). These programs include:

 Apple iCal (syncs to iPod)
 Chandler
 eventSherpa
 FirstClass
 Google Calendar
 KOrganizer
 Kronolith
 Lotus Notes
 Lovento
 Microsoft Outlook
 Mozilla Calendar (including Sunbird)
 Novell Evolution
 ScheduleWorld
 Simple Groupware
 30Boxes
 WebCalendar
 Windows Calendar
 Upcoming.org

Most ICS-based calendar programs allow you to subscribe to a "live" version of the calendar, which exists online as a web page. (This is the online version of CounterCorp's e-calendar.)

By subscribing (rather than just downloading a static version of the calendar), you can configure the calendar program on your computer to automatically retrieve the latest information from the online calendar at regular intervals.

That way, any changes made to the online version will be reflected on the version on your computer, without having to go and check the online calendar from time to time.

Download or subscribe to the CounterCorp events e-calendar.
