Stay tuned for the new and improved CounterCorp website, launching in January 2012!
CounterCorp is an all-volunteer non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. We organize the annual Anti-Corporate Film Festival — a three-day series of film screenings, post-screening Q & A’s, and related events held each year in late May — and publish the Corporation Watch blog.
By anti-corporate films we don't just mean “independent” ones, but rather those that examine and reflect the role that corporations play in our daily lives, and the effects they have on people, communities, and cultures around the world, as well as the planet itself.
CounterCorp’s mission is to end corporate impunity by raising public and media awareness, promoting critical thought and analysis, and encouraging informed discussion and debate about how corporations actually operate, and what they really add to — and subtract from — humanity’s “bottom line”.
For more information about our programs and events, subscribe to our low-volume CounterCorp News e-mail list (using the form in the right-hand column of this page). To get involved in helping to organize the Film Festival — or to bring it to your town or campus — please contact us.
